Also, if you have ANY shiny football pants (whether they fit or not), we are using them this year and would appreciate help in rounding them up.  Please bring them to Dawn Geiger and we will make sure they are returned to you after the play.

Schedule Viewing

If you are trying to view the schedule on your phone apps, you will probably be unable to see it.  For some reason the apps eliminate the tool bar on the side.  To solve this problem, you should be able to access the schedule on your home computer.

Cinderella Schedule

The NEW schedule has been posted for about 2 weeks!  It is NOT complete and WILL change!  Keep a close watch for changes.  I usually suggest you check back here on the calendar each Friday and Sunday evening.  We try to give a good notice before anyone is required.  Thank you for your support and excitement!  This is going to be a magical play-LOTS of fun!

AUDITION RESULTS!!!

This year's audition process was great!  Thank you to each student who participated!  We have a nice-sized group for our upper-school cast.  This year we did, finally, have to significantly cut our lower-school participation.  It was sad, but necessary.  With a show like Cinderella, there aren't a lot of open roles for "children."  That being said, if we could, we would put EACH ONE of you in the show.  So, if your child's name didn't make this list, please don't lose heart!  Next year is a whole new year, with a new play and new opportunities.  Please come back and audition again!  If you are a parent whose child is not on this list and you still want to volunteer, please let me know!
Also, if you are an upper-school student who tried out and whose name does not appear on the list, please let me know asap!  There is hardly a year where I don't somehow misplace someone's name, etc.  EVERY upper school student interested in participating, gets to.  So let me know!
Thank you again for participating!  We hope even those who are not playing a role this year will support their fellow students and sit back and enjoy the show!
For those of you on this list, there is an upper school read-thru on MONDAY from 2-4 in Mr. Givens room.   It is MANDATORY for MAIN ROLES and all other Upper School participants may attend.

2013 SPRING MUSICAL SELECTION

For those who are familiar with our school's drama program, we hope you will be pleasantly surprised with a change in scheduling.  For the last 10 years we have held our Spring musical in May.  This year, in an effort to make the life of the student body and their families easier, we have moved our Spring musical to March 7 and 8.  The program will still follow the basic layout we always have, just earlier in the year!  Auditions will be open for students K-12.  ALL Upper School students who audition will participate.  Our room for Lower School students, however, is much more limited.  We will let all students audition, but will probably have to make some cuts.
With all that said, we have a few dates of which to make you aware.

Now last, but not least, this year's musical will be.....................
Rogers and Hammerstein's
CINDERELLA.
Please encourage your students to participate!  This play is large and contains many male and female roles, many of which are comical.  Take a chance to watch the 1957 version of the movie ( with Julie Andrews as Cinderella), available on Youtube.  This version is quite different from the Disney version and is very entertaining.

Any sports teams whose activities coincide with those of the play, will be able to work around participation in both!  We want everyone to take part who is willing.
